Black Girl -Friendly Sunscreen!

Everyone knows how important sunscreen is as part of your skincare routine. Most black girls have skincare concerns ranging from hyperpigmentation, dark spots, melasma and blemishes. It is impossible to fight these issues without wearing sunscreen. Using sunscreen daily protects your skin from UVA rays which can worsen your dark spots and hyperpigmentation and lead to uneven skin tone.

Although sunscreen is important, finding the perfect sunscreen for black girls can be very difficult. It is crazy that black people are a huge part of the beauty industry, yet we are almost always an afterthought when it comes to beauty products. In 2017 African-Americans spent $465 million on skincare alone, wild! Sunscreen is a necessity for all, but more often than not, sunscreen leaves a grey or white cast on people of colour, and that ain't cute.

To save you the stress, here's a list of 10 sunscreen's that are black girl friendly. Great coverage, no white cast, and some of them i've used! Bye bye to looking casket ready all in the name of protection.
